Summary: We collect only the data you choose to share. We never sell your data. You can export or delete everything at any time.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. If you sign in with Google, Apple, or other providers, we receive your name and email from those services.
Contact Data
When you choose to import contacts, we collect the contact information you select, which may include:
- Names, phone numbers, and email addresses
- Birthdays and anniversaries
- Company names and job titles
- Nicknames and notes
- Contact photos
- Postal addresses
- Relationship labels (e.g., "mother", "spouse")
You choose which contacts to import — we never automatically sync your entire address book.
Communication Metadata
If you connect email services (e.g., Gmail), we may access email metadata including sender, recipient, date, and subject lines to calculate communication frequency. We do not read email body content unless you explicitly opt in.
Usage Data
We collect anonymized usage data such as feature usage patterns, app performance metrics, and crash reports to improve the service.

- Smart Nudges: We use relationship data to send you timely reminders about birthdays, communication breaks, and milestones.
- AI Recommendations: Our AI assistant uses your relationship context to suggest conversation starters, events, and meetup ideas.
- Contact Organization: We auto-categorize contacts into Family, Friends, and Professional groups based on available signals.
3. Data Storage & Security

7. Children's Privacy
A iHuman is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
8. Third-Party Integrations
When you connect third-party services (Google, LinkedIn, Facebook), those services have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them. We only access the specific data scopes you authorize, and you can revoke access at any time.
